Both types come in cordless and corded options, although the corded ones are far more powerful and last longer between charges than their battery-powered cousins.
Pliers – Pliers are tools with two pairs of flat, parallel metal jaws used for grasping, twisting, pulling, and cutting. They're usually made from forged steel or cast metal, but some are made from plastic.
The most common type is the slip-joint plier (also called a flat-nose plier), which has short jaws that only slightly curve inward.
